Background of SEEKIT
YOSCA was an association formed by a group of college students in early 1970s, of which our grandfather was an active member. You can read the story from the founder of YOSCA himself in the May 2021 issue. It had undertaken a number of activities until 1976, of which the magazine happens to be one. We thought of resuming the magazine and rang up one of the founding member, Mr.Sri Kasturi Narahari Rao, who was more than happy to help us with this endeavour. We renamed it as SEEKIT And here is the magazine!
Our Team
We are a strong team of people who work on providing you good content every month. Vani Aparna is the Editor-in-chief. She is an academic researcher and writer. She enjoys reading books and learning classical music.
Sub-editors and Other Members
We have 5 young sub-editors. A number of children and talented people also contribute to the various columns.
D Sai Vijaya Karthikeya
Karthikeya is a student of Class 12, Page Junior College. He is interested in chess, basketball and dance. He writes stories, and news updates and also mainly contributes content to the science and entertainment sections.
Madhulika Gannavarapu
Madhu is in Class 11 and studies at TCIS. She is interested in drawing, playing sports and spending time outdoors. She writes the Notes from History, Celebration of the Month, Puzzles and Jokes.
D Satya Prithvi
Prithvi is a student of Class 10, Gitanjali Devshala.
Chess and basketball are his interests. Le monde d'extraordinaire, Phenomenon to Observe, Science and Word Puzzles are some of the columns he deals with.
Sloka Gannavarapu
Sloka is a student of Class 7, Notre Dame Academy. She likes playing badminton, singing, reading books and many more. She adds to the magazine by contributing riddles, word searches, jokes, The Travel Book (about various countries ), etc.
Sreshta Yasaswini Chavali
Sreshta is a student of Class 6, The School. She is interested in playing basketball, listening to music, singing, reading books and a lot more. She adds to the magazine by contributing various columns, folktales, and many more.
Other Members
Mr.Narahari Rao and Mr. Gouripathi have been contributing invaluable content as the founder members. . The creativity and efforts behind our coverpage are always from the inputs by Ms.Vaishnavi and Ms.Meena. Mr.Rajkumar has been enabling our self-development column as always and Mr.Vikramaditya has our due respect for the creative way he weaves mythology and history with our present lives. Our in-house ‘Unmutable Uncle’ is invincible and has a comeback every month with his livening sarcasm. Team SEEKIT extends its special thanks to the management and the students of KV Patshala, who have made SEEKIT a part of their lives. Siddarth M., with his sports and gaming insights, has a distinct way of engaging with the readers. Dhruthi G., one of our youngest contributors, thinks of sharing every slice of learning with our readers. Poornitha and Rishitha always discuss their ideas as well as send content. Last but not the least, we have a number of readers like Mr.Gurukumar, Lakshmi San, Ms.Sailaja, Gayathri V., Bhavagnya S., Mr.HBK Sharma, Mr.Sri Ghatta, Ms.Neelima, Ms.Shanthi, Mr.Krishnamurthy Mr.Murthy D., Ms.Vishala, Mr.ChNL Kameswara Rao, Ms Lakshmi and Ms Parvathi; who keep awaiting for the magazine every month
